I am a photographer with a deep passion for blending technical precision with a strong artistic vision. My journey into photography began at the age of 12, when I first picked up an SLR camera, and since then, it’s been a lifelong pursuit of both creative expression and technical mastery. I went on to earn a BFA from Long Island University in Southampton, New York, where my foundation in the arts was solidified. Later, I expanded my perspective with a degree in Buying, Merchandising, and Business from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, which has given me a unique blend of creative and commercial insight.
My early career in New York’s advertising world was transformative. I had the opportunity to collaborate with talented creative teams at major agencies and department stores, producing work for global clients. This experience took me around the world, capturing images in collaboration with art directors, which broadened my understanding of photography's commercial potential and deepened my artistic vision. Those years taught me how to work within the parameters of business and commerce, while always staying true to my artistic integrity.
As I evolved as an artist, my work transitioned from traditional to digital photography, and with that came a shift in how I approached my images. I began incorporating innovative digital techniques, combining them with a soft, painterly aesthetic that’s become a hallmark of my style. My images often carry a dreamlike quality, a sense of memory frozen in time, where moments seem to slip away just as they’re captured. They evoke a sense of fleeting beauty—blurred, distant, yet emotionally charged, as if seen through the haze of time.
Through my work, I hope to invite people to pause and take in the quieter, more peaceful moments in life. There’s a serene stillness in nature that I find endlessly inspiring, and I try to capture that essence in every photograph—highlighting the subtle beauty of the world that often goes unnoticed. It’s not about capturing perfection, but rather the tender, ephemeral moments that make life so meaningful. When I look through my lens, I’m searching for that soft glow of light—the kind that makes everything feel just a little bit more magical, as if it’s all illuminated by the quiet passage of time.
